I’ve been marketing for a while now and try to find new ideas and niches for my home business that are not traveled. It seems that so many people use the same techniques over and over again to interest you into the business.
Here are some items that are over used that I feel can be put to bed finally.
1. Stop using the bugging friends and family story.
2. Stop using the cold calling scenario
3. Stop saying the business builds itself plug and play
4. Stop saying that there is no more phone calls.
There are more examples, however, these are the big four I see over use of. Let me explain, since marketing on the Internet has become key to the 21st century, affiliate marketers now use PPC adds, Blog sites and e mail marketing to name a few. The cold calling and bugging friends and family is a thing of the past, and everyone knows this. Stop telling people what they already know. The next are all just plain myths of making money. No business works on plug and play, and if you never intend on calling people, you’ll never sponsor any prospects to your business. There is still and always will be worked involved with running a home based business of this nature. It’s true that people are looking for the lazy rich lifestyle, but people need to realize this doesn’t exist. It is false to think it does. This is why so many marketers enter a business and fail. Advertise real and original scenarios to solve the customers problems. People need to know they must work to succeed.
Come up with new ideas to market your business, people keep seeing the same thing over and over again. What people need is something new and original, and since so many internet marketers keep doing the rerun marketing concept, you are at an advantage if you do something new, go for it.

If It’s Not Working Change It! Simple Solution For Home Business Success

Have you ever heard the term,”‘kicking a dead horse”? This is what I’m getting at with this blog, we’re all guilty of it, and the success of our home based business is reliant on us excepting it. Here is what I’m saying in short, if the marketing concept you are using isn’t making money, change it.
I’m not really saying to dump the marketing style, but take another look at it. Why is it not working? Change parts of it until you see results. If you never see results, then move on to another style of marketing. You’d be surprised at what a small change here or there may do for you. Look at PPC marketing for instance. A low click rate, may be a bad advertisement that is not catching the eye of what is being searched for in the search engine. Maybe you have a lot of clicks, and no opt in. This may tell you the landing page is not doing its job. Maybe the wording, the video, or the landing page itself has nothing to do with the question the person searching the net is looking for. In this case change your landing page to hold the interest. This concept works with any marketing approach, but you have to use common sense to make it work.
Remember there is a lot of competition, so you have to think fast to get ahead. Treat it like you are in hurry, you want to beat the competitor to the punch. Tweak, change or whatever you want to call it. If you are getting no results, quit “kicking a dead horse”, and change what you are doing. This is how you get results!

It is important to stay up on the latest technology when it comes to marketing your home based business. Affiliate Marketing can become a breeze when you just stay in touch with the current trends and utilize them.
The video is a very common use item recently, not so much in the earlier years of marketing, but there is so much a person can do to take advantage of the video. There is a site I utilize called Eye Jot Video Email where you can send an email to someone who has just opted into your website. What an easy way to utilize the video to make money! You can make a video on the spot with a web cam. Personalize it by talking to the person that came to your site and saying thanks, with a quick message to them about a webinar or whatever else you would like to promote. If you can get them right after they have opted in, you can really catch their attention while they have you fresh in mind. There is so much more being developed all the time with technology, you just have to grab a hold and do it. You can really impress people with this kind of stuff!
The next time you want to interact with someone in the wee hours of the night without a phone call, send them a video. If you know they are on line, this is perfect, they can check you out without disturbing anyone who may be sleeping

Did you know that one of the best things you can do for yourself is start your own home based business? A lot of people are asking, why would I want to do that? It’s to much work. I will tell you why you should consider affiliate marketing.
Right now, a home based business can be your best opportunity for a tax shelter. With all of the lay offs and company closings, more people are looking for new ways to make money, and this is the best way. It is also an opportunity to have more time to be with your family and friends. It is a chance to save money on gas from long commutes to work, which will also help you with the wear and tare on your car. The potential to make incredible money is also a huge benefit to this kind of genre. Just think about how you will feel if you don’t have a boss any longer. No more getting up for work in the early mornings before the sun come up. You can now wake up at your own leisure and comfortably enjoy your day. You will still need to work, but you’ll throw away all the stress!
There are more reasons than what I have listed here, so just think about it and fill it in with your dreams. There is so much more to life than answering to a boss, so it’s up to you.

Did you know that people love to read about your personal experiences? If you are an affiliate marketer, you should have your personal story on your web page so that prospects can read about you and see you are a real person. People like to join those they can relate to.
You should give the article some length and make it fun, and even funny. Tell them about your hobbies, you jobs, your kids, school and anything you can think of that makes you who you are. Someone comes to your web page starts reading through might find you have some common interests and want to take the time to talk to you and maybe join your home based business. When you talk to your prospects on the phone these interests can create great conversation and lead you into trust. It is important to gain trust, so all of this goes hand in hand. This is another step toward good social marketing. If you aren’t doing this, you really need to put a plan in place and start real soon. This is the future of internet business. I found when I wrote my bio, it was a lot of fun, and brought back some great memories.
Sharpen your pencil and start writing, this could be the most valuable marketing tool you ever use. So don’t get left behind!

So your new to affiliate marketing and have no idea how to get started, or what to look for. Your not alone with this dilemma, so if you follow my lead, I will set you in the right direction. There is so many things you should know before you begin.
Let say you find a product in the home based industry that interests you. The last thing you want to do is just join to get started without knowing anything about the team you are partnering up with. Always opt in to the landing page, and remember to leave your phone number and e mail address. A good team will call you for an interview. This interview is a two way street, the person on the other end of the phone wants to see if you are the kind of person they want as a partner. You should be sure that the person interviewing you is somebody you want to work with. If you don’t hear from somebody after opting in to the internet business site landing page, DO NOT JOIN. This person either has not been trained correctly, or they have to many applicants to work with. You want to join a team that has the time to help you get started and train you to do the business in a successful manner. Up line support is key and very relevant to this kind of marketing. Join a team that will give you the support you need, so, move on and opt in with someone else until the process is followed. Once someone contacts you, and they pass your interview, you can now join their successful team as they will show you how to make money. You can then duplicate your training by helping your down line in the same manner. You are now off to an incredible career and life of satisfaction because you are now in the business of showing people how to improve their lives forever.
Take my word for it, you want to be successful, so join a team that has the same goals, communicates to you, and helps you find solutions for your marketing questions. Remember, they are not there to do the work for you, that is your job. Learn from their lead, and become a leader. This is the perfect recipe for success.

Test are proving that in affiliate marketing, the most successful advertising has video on it. It seems the old way of writing a long ad with a compelling story no longer holds water when compared to an advertisement with video content. Maybe people don’t want to spend any time reading about how to make money any more.
Two ads were tested side by side for a home based business opportunity, one with a video and another without. The ad with the video actually pulled 50% more sales than that without the video. Kind of amazing if you think about it. Then another test was done to see if a video that gave the user the control over starting the video, over the video that started on its own. The video that started up on its own actually pulled more weight. This is probably because it doesn’t give the prospect time to think about what they are seeing. Testing your marketing really does pay off as you can see. I think that the main reason many people don’t use video is because they don’t know what to say or do on it, or maybe they get a bit camera shy. If this is the case, there are many power point shows that have been put into video form. All yo u have to do is ad voice.
The bottom line, if you want to create a successful landing page, your chances of success are greater if you implement video into your ads. It keeps your prospects interest and increases the money you can make with your internet business.

I was watching a video today with some very smart internet marketing gurus, Frank Kern and John Reese. They were being interviewed by the incredible Tony Robbins. The interview was concerning why people buy marketing products but never follow through. There was a subject within the conversation that really hit home for me, and I wanted to share this fact with other home business owners.
The reason that many affiliate marketers fail at their new internet business is because of a belief system that they have programed in their head. Most people will join with a short term excitement, approach it wrong, and lose the excitement, then fail and drop out. They didn’t fully believe they could become a successful marketer. Let me give you an example of something you may take for granted. You know that if you get on a bike you could ride it perfect, balance, the whole nine yards. Do you remember when you were a child, and you had to learn? Once you started to have some success at balance for just a few feet you realized you could do it, and never questioned it again. The process can further go into explaining why a power lifter can lift to his limit before failing. It’s all about believing you can do something. If you don’t believe you can, it won’t happen. The most successful marketers had to start from ground one also, and once they saw the potential, and the actions they took brought them the success they desired, it was a no brainer, and they could make money anytime they wanted.
I think it’s easy to see where I’m going with this. If you don’t believe in yourself then you’ve failed right out of the starting gate. You must build confidence within, keep educating your mind so that you have no reason to doubt your true potential.

Originally, as we all know, Affiliate Marketing was based on trying to sponsor your friends and family, through a method of disturbing them and trying to get them to motivational and distributor meeting, which eventually scared them away. You had to bother people until they couldn’t stand it no more. This method does not work for today’s home based business market.
Today, it’s the internet that your business must appeal to. If you market your products, you have already failed. Your prospects are going to be sold on your knowledge and skills of the industry before they will even want to know about your product. This is known as attraction marketing. Nobody wants to be sold, but once they have found trust in you through your expertise in the field, they will come running to you wanting to join your down line, and hence your internet business will grow! This is how you make money.
This marketing approach has everything to do with the fact that there is so much safety placed on the consumer by trying to protect them from all the spam and unsolicited advertising they receive on a daily basis. These are uninvited guests. Essentially, your goal is to become an invited guest. The only way to get into the door is by following this method.
Do your realize that the worst thing you can do for your internet business is to actually advertise products to your customers? This sounds kind of crazy, but with all the competition, your future customer does not want to be sold. They are constantly getting e-mails from home business owners trying to sway them to buy this or that, and quite honestly they have lost the sale before they even started.
The correct approach these days is to prove your knowledge and expertise in the field by offering solutions. You can keep them interested by sharing experiences and information that is helpful. I’ve seen a lot of great examples of this on various videos by internet marketers that I follow. What’s great is, it’s actually an easy approach, and it’s a lot of fun to do. If you take an experiment or an internet marketing approach that you have tried, you can white board it, video tape it and put it out on the internet for people to view. Attach it to your blog, and never even advertise your product once. I’ve seen some that leave you in suspense because they don’t let you see the whole video until you buy the product, what a neat approach.
It is true that people like to spend money, but only when they like or are interested in something. By sharing your knowledge, you gain their interest in you, then once again you enter the trust zone, and your ability to sell has now become greater. It’s cool that success can be gained this way, and even better yet when you don’t have to be a sales person.
