Have you ever wondered why so many people fail at their home business? There is such a simple reason, it isn’t even funny. Are you ready…it’s called taking action. This is the key to success, without it you have nothing.
I can describe it as this, if you don’t turn the key to start your car, it will not start. It’s the same with anything you do in life. If you want to make money in the real world, you have to take action or nothing happens. Every day you have to market your product, you have to get your name out there. Make a video, write a blog, find your niche and run with it. It is the only way to make it happen and make it fun. If you find the joy in what you are doing, it will make your life so much easier and make you so much happier. When you are happy, it makes it so much easier to do what you need to do to get to the top. Affiliate marketing is only as hard as you make it, test everything you do, see what works. With the technology of the internet, there really is no excuse for not being able to test. There are free tools, and paid tools, it’s what works for you.
No matter what you do in this world, the only way to get from point A to B is to do something. Most people don’t do what they need to do when they don’t understand, or are afraid to take the first step. Make every day a productive day, do something about what you want in life by doing something, simply take action, you’ll be glad you did.

Are You The Real Deal? The Leader Or The Follower

One of the most important things to remember when you start your own home business is that you must become a leader. Your internet business will not thrive unless you declare this. If people looking to become a business partner with you see that you are not taking on this roll, they will not follow you, and your business will starve.
Affiliate marketing is about attraction marketing, no one is attracted to someone who has nothing to offer, because a good leader has much to learn from. This is why it is important to become good at a system, read and learn as much as you can so that you can offer more and more to the world. People are naturally attracted to someone who carries positive leadership skills. There will never be a business that is lead by a person lacking these skills that can prove to be successful, unless they are good at attracting leaders into their opportunity. Leadership is a learned skill that can be acquired by anyone who transforms their mindset and decides to lead the pack. A follower will not succeed until they transform what they learn into leadership skills of their own, and begin to attract others who are looking to learn from them.
In short, if you wish to become a leader, you must first believe in yourself and make the changes necessary to do so. You must practice the skills, as they will become second nature, and you will then have more to offer the world, and your own success.

I was watching a video today with some very smart internet marketing gurus, Frank Kern and John Reese. They were being interviewed by the incredible Tony Robbins. The interview was concerning why people buy marketing products but never follow through. There was a subject within the conversation that really hit home for me, and I wanted to share this fact with other home business owners.
The reason that many affiliate marketers fail at their new internet business is because of a belief system that they have programed in their head. Most people will join with a short term excitement, approach it wrong, and lose the excitement, then fail and drop out. They didn’t fully believe they could become a successful marketer. Let me give you an example of something you may take for granted. You know that if you get on a bike you could ride it perfect, balance, the whole nine yards. Do you remember when you were a child, and you had to learn? Once you started to have some success at balance for just a few feet you realized you could do it, and never questioned it again. The process can further go into explaining why a power lifter can lift to his limit before failing. It’s all about believing you can do something. If you don’t believe you can, it won’t happen. The most successful marketers had to start from ground one also, and once they saw the potential, and the actions they took brought them the success they desired, it was a no brainer, and they could make money anytime they wanted.
I think it’s easy to see where I’m going with this. If you don’t believe in yourself then you’ve failed right out of the starting gate. You must build confidence within, keep educating your mind so that you have no reason to doubt your true potential.
It was just the other day I was watching a DVD with Jeff Buckley, one of my favorite musical artists, and I realized just how powerful passion can really be. It is something that can drive a person to success in any career weather it be music or your own home based business. When you are passionate about what you are doing with your life, it is then that you find the true potential of who you really are and what you can actually accomplish.
Think for a moment, what is it that really drives you? What is it that excites you? What makes you want to learn more? Once you know where it is you want to go with your life, it is that moment you can actually take control and concentrate your efforts on achieving that goal. If it is something that you know you must have, then you will do what ever it takes to get there without thinking of the why nots in life. Perhaps passion will create your next internet business, or once you make money you will be able to entertain your interests. Never discount your dreams.
Watching the video of Buckley, the interviewer asked some interesting questions. Jeff answered each from his heart, explaining just what each song meant to him, and through his speach and body language, you knew it was just that important. I realized that once you can reach that level, there is no end to what a person can accomplish in a life time.

There are so many people out there that only dream of building a wealth system, and have no idea that if they were to change one key factor in their life, they could actually get there. The key to financial freedom is developing a positive attitude.
1. You will never get anywhere in life if you don’t think positive.
2. You are what you think, if you think you won’t succeed, you won’t succeed.
3. No one will follow a negative person, because they are unsure of themselves.
4. They focus on ‘why not’ instead of the goal.
5. Negative people give up, and accept failure as a way of life.
Building wealth in your life is not just money, but it includes the feeling of well being and satisfaction. Wealth is comfort. Take the time to quit thinking about all the reason you will fail. Failure is the stepping stone to success. Start focusing on the goals you have. What is it you want to do, where is it you want to go and in what amount of time do you want to get there. Write down the steps of how you will do it, and a time line to reach the goal. You may fail along the way, but this is how you learn from your mistakes, just get up and keep moving. This is the road to success.
