I’ve been marketing for a while now and try to find new ideas and niches for my home business that are not traveled.  It seems that so many people use the same techniques over and over again to interest you into the business.

Here are some items that are over used that I feel can be put to bed finally.

1. Stop using the bugging friends and family story.

2. Stop using the cold calling scenario

3. Stop saying the business builds itself plug and play

4. Stop saying that there is no more phone calls.

There are more examples, however, these are the big four I see over use of.  Let me explain, since marketing on the Internet has become key to the 21st century, affiliate marketers now use PPC adds, Blog sites and e mail marketing to name a few.  The cold calling and bugging friends and family is a thing of the past, and everyone knows this.  Stop telling people what they already know.  The next are all just plain myths of making money.  No business works on plug and play, and if you never intend on calling people, you’ll never sponsor any prospects to your business.  There is still and always will be worked involved with running a home based business of this nature.  It’s true that people are looking for the lazy rich lifestyle, but people need to realize this doesn’t exist.  It is false to think it does.  This is why so many marketers enter a business and fail.  Advertise real and original scenarios to solve the customers problems.  People need to know they must work to succeed.

Come up with new ideas to market your business, people keep seeing the same thing over and over again.  What people need is something new and original, and since so many internet marketers keep doing the rerun marketing concept, you are at an advantage if you do something new, go for it.
